It acts like it is going to pull the paper as per usual, then pops it up a 1/2 inch or so, and doesn't catch it again. When I turn it on it makes a whirring noise, but there is no movement. On/Off buttons, and all buttons have no effect. Now, the ink holder mechanism is completely stuck to the far right and I can't move it manually. You need to move it a couple of time back and forth. Do you have any recommendations? I have manually slid the ink cartridges back and forth. Use a flashlight and you will see two ink pads. I started getting error code 1403, 11/19/2016 11/19/2016 crash2199 I have a pixma Pro-10 printer.

Sliding in back and forth is another temporary fix. Try and move the white wiper blade and see if it is stuck. It will work now. So it looks like a distorted smear at that point on the photo, about 1/8 inch wide, which occurred when it slid right while still printing.
